Your research topic caught my eye in our blog listings, so I thought I would head your way and check it out. I've never heard of the model you are referring to and basing your action research on. However, I am constantly told that my classroom management is one of my strongest skills in my classroom. I am very intrigued by your proposed research and will be bookmarking your blog so I can follow along. This may be a result of me overlooking it, but are you going to be implementing this into your classroom only, or to others as well?
ReplyDeleteAs I read this I also wondered if your team was also going to implement the model. I really like seeing how different classroom management varies from classroom to classroom. I'll be interested in seeing how your project turns out!
ReplyDeleteEffective teaching and learning cannot take place in a poorly managed classroom so I know many teachers are always interested in learning new strategies to help make their classrooms run smoothly. I am curious as to how you are you going to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan? Anecdotal evidence from the teachers, checklists, self-reflection sheets, student/teacher interviews?
